Job Summary
Travel Cardiac Cath Lab RN assignment based in Lansing, MI. Requires 12 months of Cardiac Cath Lab experience with STEMI and advanced cath/ablation procedures, familiarity with PCI/stents, Impella management, and structural heart cases (ASD/VSD repairs). Cerner experience and Michigan RN license are preferred/required for submission. Role involves day shifts (7:30 AM–6:00 PM) with on-call one day per week and one weekend per month; estimated 13-week contract with 20–30 cases per day, requiring strong pre/post-care skills and advanced cardiovascular proficiency. Travel and local options available; vaccination required after submission; onboarding may include pre-employment modules.
Required Qualifications
- 12 months of Cardiac Cath Lab experience
- 12 months of experience with Cardiac Cath Lab
- Travel experience preferred
- 3 months of Cerner experience preferred
- Michigan license required for submission
- COVID vaccination after submission
- BLS and ACLS certifications
- Strong cardiac proficiency
- Experience with pre- and post-care
- Heart caths, coronary and peripheral angioplasties and stents, lytics, embolizations, Impella management, structural heart ASD/VSD repairs, TEEs/cardioversions, tilt table testing, pacers and ICDs, EP studies, complex ablations (A Fib), thoracenteses, paracenteses, tunneled cath placements
- Unit uses Phillips equipment
- 2 references required from within last 2 years
