Job Summary
Assist physicians with cardiac catheterizations by scrubbing, circulating supplies, and monitoring patient hemodynamic status while demonstrating competency in sterile technique. Administer pertinent medications under physician direction, perform IV access and phlebotomy, and execute emergency therapeutic maneuvers per ACLS protocol. Operate and ensure quality control of all laboratory equipment, maintaining extensive knowledge of related devices and ensuring supplies remain available and sterilized. Schedule may include holidays, extended shifts, nights, weekends, standby, or on-call rotations. Requires RCIS or ARRT certification, BLS, and ACLS.
Required Qualifications
- RCIS or ARRT certification
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
- 6+ months Cath Lab experience
- Must be able to perform duties with a patient-centered focus
- Must be available for holidays
- Must be available for extended shifts
- Must be available for night shifts
- Must be available for weekend shifts
- Must be available for standby
- Must be available for on-call
Desired Qualifications
- RCIS preferred but will accept AART with experience
- Critical Care experience
