Job Summary
Assist with invasive cardiovascular procedures in the cath lab under supervision, operating imaging equipment, interpreting basic and advanced dysrhythmia and EKGs, and supporting physicians as a scrub tech and circulator. Responsibilities include patient transport, maintaining sterile technique, preparing and stocking the lab, monitoring patient status during procedures, troubleshooting equipment, teaching and orienting students and new staff, and ensuring effective inventory control and post-procedure safety.
Required Qualifications
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree, science emphasis or commensurate healthcare experience
- Licenses and/or Certifications (Required)
- Current American Heart Association (AHA) Advanced Cardio Life Support certification
- RCIS certified within six months of date of hire
- ARRT and TX RT(R) required in lieu of RCIS
