Job Summary
Assist with technical aspects of invasive cardiovascular procedures by acting as monitor, scrub, and circulator tech under physician direction. Interpret dysrhythmias and EKGs, operate imaging equipment, and maintain sterile technique for patient prep and sheath removal. Manage cath lab inventory, troubleshoot equipment, and transport patients. Post-procedure safety includes monitoring patient status and maintaining hemostasis. Requires RCIS certification or ARRT/TX RT(R) within six months of hire. Methodist Dallas Medical Center is a Magnet-designated Level I Trauma Center and Stroke Center in North Texas.
Required Qualifications
- Associate or Bachelor's degree, science emphasis or commensurate healthcare experience
- Licenses and/or Certifications
- Current American Heart Association (AHA) Advanced Cardio Life Support certification
- RCIS certified within six months of date of hire
- ARRT and TX RT(R) required in lieu of RCIS
