Assist with technical aspects of invasive cardiovascular procedures under physician direction by monitoring dysrhythmias, operating imaging equipment, and maintaining sterile technique during procedures. Serve as scrub tech, circulator, or monitor tech by interpreting waveforms, managing patient status, handing supplies, and transporting patients. Prepare the lab and patient for procedures, including setup, shaving, and pulse marking, while troubleshooting equipment and controlling inventory. Post-procedure, remove sheaths, maintain hemostasis, and monitor patient status. Work 7 am to 5:30 pm, four days a week, with RCIS certification required within six months of hire.
