Job Summary
A challenging contract position exists for an experienced Cardiovascular Technologist specializing in invasive cardiac procedures within a dynamic cardiac catheterization and electrophysiology lab. Responsibilities include preparing procedure rooms, anticipating equipment needs, and operating sophisticated machinery.
Required Qualifications
- Associate or Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology
- Certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT)
- 1+ year of Cath Lab experience
- Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) certification
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
- Minimum of 2 years of Cath Lab Tech experience
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with Right and Left Heart Hemodynamics
- Cardiac Interventions (including CTO PCI, Pericardiocentesis)
- Vascular Interventions
- Experience with advanced support devices such as ECMO, Impella, IABP, ProtekDuo
- Structural heart procedure experience (TAVR, MitraClip, Watchman, CardioMEMS, PFO, ASD, VSD, Valvuloplasty)
- Background in critical care or cardiac nursing
