Cardiac Cath Lab RN

Conduct admission and ongoing assessments of patients, performing critical evaluations and notifying physicians of significant condition changes. Design, direct, and document comprehensive care plans including patient teaching and discharge transitions while collaborating with interdisciplinary teams. Prepare patients physically, psychologically, and spiritually for treatments, surgeries, and diagnostic studies to reduce anxiety, then implement safety protocols and medication practices. Reassess patients at appropriate intervals following interventions to adjust nursing care to emerging needs and provide accurate bedside shift reports to ensure continuity. Requires Associate of Science Nursing with one year of RN experience; BSN and two years of critical care experience preferred.
