CARDIAC CATH LAB REGISTERED NURSE or Cath Lab Tech (RN)-Full Time

Cath Lab Registered Nurse or Cath Lab Radiology Technologist at Sierra Medical Center (part of Universal Health Services) in Reno, NV. Full-time 40 hours/week with full benefits and a flexible schedule. Provides direct patient care in the procedural/interventional environment, communicates with physicians and team members, ensures equipment readiness, obtains supplies, assists during procedures, administers moderate sedation under physician guidance, and participates in CQI activities. Radiology Tech role performs cardiovascular and interventional radiology procedures, provides patient care according to standards, and supports optimal outcomes. Responsibilities include admitting, recovering, discharging patients from the Cardiovascular Lab, performing head-to-toe assessments, and addressing psychosocial, cultural, ethnic, and spiritual needs of patients and families. Qualifications include NV RN licensure (for RN track) or Radiologic Technology accreditation, experience in Cath Lab or special procedures, on-call eligibility, and BLS/ACLS certifications.
