Job Summary
Operate x-ray equipment and perform cardiovascular and interventional radiological procedures upon licensed practitioner orders. Provide optimal patient care by determining anatomical postures, immobilizing patients, and applying radiation safety protocols. Interact professionally with patients and families while exercising professional judgment to ensure successful procedure completion. Participate in on-call schedules for special procedures and maintain current licensure, BLS, and ACLS certifications.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited educational program in Radiologic Technology
- Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) OR RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) OR RCES (Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist) certificate
- Current BLS
- Current ACLS within 6 Months
- Current Registered Nurse licensure in the state of Nevada
- Current POC license within 90 days
- Current BLS certification
- Current ACLS certification
- Minimum of one year experience in critical care
- Cath Lab/IR experience required
- Willing to take call/standby
- Minimum 1 year of experience in Radiology Special Procedures or Cath Lab
- Experience with scrubbing
- Ability to participate in on-call schedule on a regular basis for special procedures
Desired Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of experience in Radiology Special Procedures or Cath Lab preferred
- Experience with scrubbing preferred
