Job Summary
Performs diagnostic imaging procedures in at least one advanced imaging modality (CT, MRI, Interventional, Mammography, Bone Density, Cardiac Catheterization) on adults and/or pediatric patients for diagnosis and/or treatment, and quality control. Responsibilities include preparing patient and equipment for procedures; performing studies independently, in on-call situations, portable exams, and other site as required by the work area. On-site and on-call duties for a Cardiac Cath Lab Imaging Technologist (PRN).
Required Qualifications
- Education: Associate or Trade School Equivalency
- Licenses & Certifications: IEMA - Illinois only; RTR; CT; MR; M; BD; CI; VI; RCIS; RCES
- Preferred: Experience <2 years
- Role Purpose: Performs diagnostic imaging procedures in advanced imaging modalities (CT, MRI, Interventional, Mammography, Bone Density, Cardiac Catheterization) on adults and/or pediatric patients for diagnosis/treatment, with quality control
