Job Summary
Supervise nursing operations within the Cardiac Cath Lab unit and assume 24-hour nursing responsibility in the Manager's or Director's absence. Manage care for the unit's specific patient population while ensuring compliance with Georgia state licensing and BLS certification requirements. Maintain visual color acuity standards and support the unit-based leadership team. No weekend coverage is required. This role supports Northside Hospital's award-winning, state-of-the-art mission to expand quality care in Atlanta.
Required Qualifications
- Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Three (3) years experience in clinical area with a minimum of one (1) year in area of specialty
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Nursing with two (2) years of experience in clinical area with a minimum of one (1) year in area of specialty
- Current license in the State of Georgia as a Registered Nurse or Nurse Compact (NLC/eNLC) or Multistate license
- Certified in American Heart Association's Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS)
- Visual color acuity depending on the role in specific units
Desired Qualifications
- Additional Life Support credential (ACLS, PALS, NRP, etc.)
- Other clinical specialty certifications in specific units
