Cardiac Cath Lab - Cath Lab / Interventional Technologist

Travel assignment for an experienced allied health professional in the Cardiac Cath Lab. Assists with cardiovascular procedures, monitors heart rate, vitals, and rhythm, maintains sterile fields, handles specialized supplies, and educates patients on post-procedure care. Requires appropriate licensure and credentials (e.g., RCIS/RCES or equivalent radiography/interventional certifications), BLS/ACLS/PALS, and eligibility for travel assignments. Shift is 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM with 8-hour shifts; 13-week contract with potential for travel rate upon matching residence. Unit emphasizes procedural support, patient care, and coordination with physicians; current Ascension employees require separation of at least 6 months for travel positions. Proof of identification and pre-employment modules may be required. Certifications and required credentials include: RCIS or RCES or equivalent, BLS, ACLS, PALS, and Cardiovascular/Interventional Radiography credentials; ASCENSION Specialty Exam with a max of two attempts.
