Job Summary
Academic cardiac/liver transplant anesthesia faculty position at Rutgers New Jersey Medical School in Newark. Provide high-acuity cardiac anesthesia and participate in the state’s first liver transplant program, teaching residents one-on-one. Expected case mix ~25 cardiac and ~45 liver transplant cases per year with home beeper call and overtime opportunities. Rank-based compensation with base by rank (Assistant ~$425K; Associate ~$450K; Professor ~$475K) plus ~ $170K annual variable compensation and a $10K cardiac fellowship stipend. Predictable schedule with structured call tiers; optional Stone Center shifts with hourly premiums.
