Job Summary
Cardiac Anesthesiologist needed at Baylor Scott & White Medical Center-Temple, TX to practice cardiac and general anesthesiology (neuro, OB, thoracic, regional) with no pediatric cases. Join a mixed anesthesia care team/solo staffing model as part of a large team of anesthesiologists, residents, fellows, and CRNAs. Typical schedule is Monday–Friday with equally rotated weekend and evening call; average one cardiac call per week (home call). Cardiac cases include heart transplantation, LVAD, ECMO, TAVR, Mitraclip, CABG (including OPCAB), and valve procedures. Occasional coverage at affiliated hospital in Waco (30 minutes away). Required Qualifications
- Doctorate Degree in Medicine
- Licensed to Practice Medicine in the state of Texas by the Texas Medical Board
- Board certification in specialty or active pursuit of board certification as defined by the appropriate specialty board of the ABS or BOA
- Advanced TEE certification
