Cardiac Anesthesiologist

Cardiac Anesthesiologist needed at the Nashville VA Medical Center to join our anesthesia service. Primary focus on cardiac anesthesia including CABG, valve surgery, TAVR, and other complex cardiac procedures in an academic, team-based environment. Collaborate with surgeons, cardiologists, intensivists, and CRNAs to provide high-quality perioperative care. Participate in preoperative assessment, intraoperative management, postoperative care, and critical care as needed. Compensation aligned with VA anesthesia compensation in Nashville, with potential performance bonuses, substantial paid time off, federal benefits, CME opportunities, malpractice tail coverage, and possible teaching/academic activities. Board certification or eligibility required; fellowship training or substantial cardiac anesthesia experience strongly preferred.
