Job Summary
The Card Operations Specialist role focuses on operational support for card payments in deposit systems, including handling Debit/Credit Card transactions, data maintenance in core processing systems, and daily reporting. Responsibilities include processing electronic transactions, supporting frontline staff, reviewing fraud software and daily reports to identify issues, performing reconciliations and correction entries, identifying process improvements, and serving as a backup for other Card Operations staff, all while upholding compliance and diversity policies.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- 1-3+ years of retail banking experience, Payments, Finance, Accounting or related field
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Experience with Microsoft Office
- Willing and able to learn new programs and software
