Job Summary
Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist role supporting Cardiologists in diagnostic and interventional procedures (e.g., cardiac catheterizations, Swan-Ganz, pacemaker insertions, TEE/CV, IABP, PCI). Responsibilities include administering moderate sedation, operating and maintaining cath lab equipment, performing scrub/circulator/recorder duties, documenting cases, ensuring radiation safety, managing drugs/contrast under supervision, maintaining inventory, and participating in performance improvement. Requires effective communication, ability to work under pressure, and teamwork with diverse staff; Associates Degree preferred; licensure/credentials as specified (ARRT-CV, ARRT-RT, BLS, ACLS, NIH Stroke Cert). Rotates on-call; on-site at Beebe Healthcare in Delaware, OH.
Required Qualifications
- Required - Cardiovascular Technician (CVT), not able to perform fluoroscopy
- Associates Degree preferred
- Preferred - RT (R) or RCIS. Must be licensed with the State of Delaware, Radiation License in order to use fluoroscopy
- Credentials - ARRT-CV - Cardiovascular-Interventional Radiography
- BLS - Basic Life Saving certification
- ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support
- ARRT-RT - Radiological Tech
- NIH - Stroke Certification
