Job Summary
Operate Carbide Cells by loading and unloading machines, fulfilling correct orders, and making parameter adjustments while maintaining product quality standards. Perform frequent mobility throughout the facility, reading product prints, inspecting output, and identifying common machine problems to assess root causes. Setup equipment using hand tools and measuring devices, clean blades and feed magazines, and ensure proper tool organization and machine cleanliness. Follow standard operating procedures and safety protocols while navigating computer software and preparing orders. Requires ability to stand and move for eight hours, lift up to 40 lbs, and possess math skills for a machining environment.
Required Qualifications
- Accredited HS Diploma or GED
- Ability to stand and be mobile for 8 hours
- Proper hand dexterity
- Ability to read and follow instructions
- Ability to read and prepare orders
- High understanding of machines and components
- Computer and Software navigation ability
- Ability to lift (up to) 40 lbs.
- Math skills appropriate to a machining environment
- Able to read product prints and check product to match
- Proficient in the use of measuring devices such as Dial Indicators and Calipers
- Ability to safely use hand tools correctly
