Job Summary
Assist lead technicians with vehicle wash equipment installation at customer sites across the Midwest, performing mechanical assembly, electrical connections, and equipment setup. Operate hand and power tools safely while following job site standards, maintaining clean environments and supporting equipment modifications as required. Load, unload, and move materials up to 75 lbs, read basic installation drawings, and communicate professionally with customers and supervisors. Travel to customer locations with frequent overnight stays, working independently and as part of a team to deliver high-quality installations.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
- Ability to safely operate hand and power tools
- Ability to read basic measurements and follow installation instructions
- Ability to work in outdoor environments and varying weather conditions
- Ability to travel weekly including 3 nights of overnight travel each week
- Ability to lift and move equipment up to 75 lbs
- Previous experience in equipment installation, mechanical work or construction
- Technical training or coursework related to mechanical or electrical systems
- Experience working in field service or installation environments
- Forklift operation experience
Desired Qualifications
- Basic understanding of mechanical systems, electrical components, pneumatic systems or hydraulics
