Job Summary
Complete all necessary steps to thoroughly clean customer vehicles to a high standard based on the selected wash package. Enthusiastically greet customers, assist them into and out of vehicles, provide clear direction, and alert management when cleaning is complete. Drive vehicles onto and off the conveyor, program wash types, and shut off the conveyor if obstructions occur while watching traffic flow. Maintain a safe, clean, and organized environment by picking up trash, sweeping, hosing areas, and cleaning equipment, windows, doors, and walls. Wash and dry towels, carry buckets, fill cleaning supplies, and empty trash cans. Follow all Waterway policies, procedures, and safety guidance. Work outdoors year-round in various weather conditions at a fast pace.
Required Qualifications
- Current and valid drivers' license
- Professional demeanor, behavior, and appearance in accordance with company policy
- Ability to perform all essential functions safely without endangering oneself or others
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- Must be able to work outdoors year-round
- Must be able to work in wide temperature variations
- Must be able to work in wet weather (rain, snow)
- Must be able to work in humidity
- Must be able to work near wet surfaces
- Must be able to work near gasoline and exhaust fumes
- Must be able to work near machinery and moving parts
- Must be able to hear, understand, and distinguish speech from other sounds (e.g., alarms, horns, vehicles, and equipment)
- Must be able to fluently speak and understand English when communicating with other team members, managers, and customers for business related purposes
- Must maintain regular, predictable, and punctual attendance
- Must be able to work assigned schedule which may be irregular and include weekends, extended hours, overtime, and holidays
