Job Summary
Wash, wax, buff, vacuum, and dry vehicles using various cleaning solutions, cloths, and machines while maintaining store facilities to ensure high-quality service. Remove dirt and debris from interiors, apply preservation chemicals to protect surfaces, and clean grease from engine compartments as needed. Perform quality inspections on your work and that of team members to identify streaks, smudges, or missed areas. Maintain strict adherence to uniform and grooming standards while working with OSHA-approved products. This physically demanding role requires frequent movement, lifting up to 50 lbs, and outdoor work under varying climate conditions. You must possess a valid driver's license, strong manual dexterity, and the ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- 1 or more years of detailing experience
- A valid driver's license and a good driving record
- Ability to learn quickly
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Ability to read and comprehend instructions
- Desire to treat each customer's personal vehicle with great care and respect
- The willingness to come to work on time and stay on task when on the clock
- The ability to drive both automatic and manual shift vehicles
- The availability to work Saturday or Sunday and holidays as deemed necessary to meet production needs
- Commitment to report to work on time and stay on task during shift
