Job Summary
DARCARS of Frederick is hiring Car Sales Representatives to sell new and used vehicles, deliver exceptional customer service, and achieve sales objectives. You will engage with customers both in person and virtually, collaborating with Sales Consultants, Sales Managers, Finance Managers, and the General Manager. Responsibilities include greeting customers, describing vehicle operations and features, conducting test drives, suggesting optional equipment and warranties, correctly computing and quoting sales prices, coordinating with the finance team, completing paperwork, arranging delivery and registration, addressing customer concerns, maintaining knowledge of brands and products, performing demonstrations, prospecting and following up with customers, participating in required training, using online digital retailing tools, and potentially utilizing video tools to assist customers in the car-buying process. This is a non-supervisory, commission-based role; equal opportunity and at-will employment apply.
Required Qualifications
- Strong communication skills with customers and DARCARS employees
- Ability to speak multiple languages (Spanish and Chinese) is a plus
- Demonstrated commitment to customer service
- Comfortable using video tools (Facetime, etc.) to assist customers
- Ability to speak, read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence, and policy documents, as well as converse comfortably with customers
- Previous sales experience preferred but not required
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, twist, and stand to perform normal job functions
- Be able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Be a team player
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule, evenings and weekends
- Must have a valid driver’s license and acceptable safe driving record
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Must be at least eighteen years of age
- Must be able to pass pre-employment screen (background)
