Job Summary
Car Rental Agent at Indie Campers is a dual-focused role combining customer service for rentals with sales demonstrations to convert leads into buyers. Responsibilities include conducting check-ins/check-outs and rental support, performing RV demos and documenting handovers, tracking leads and follow-ups in CRM, converting rentals into sales opportunities, maintaining knowledge of RV models, performing basic system demos, and providing troubleshooting support. Must be able to stand and move around the depot, lift light to moderate items, work outdoors in varying weather, and flex weekends/peak-season schedules. Part-time, zero-hours contract; Edinburgh, UK location.
Required Qualifications
- 1-3 years in customer service, sales, hospitality, rental, or automotive environments
- Strong communication and customer engagement skills
- Ability to understand and explain technical RV/vehicle systems
- Hands-on, adaptable, solution-oriented under pressure
- Proficiency using CRM tools, rental systems, or digital sales software
- Organised, detail-focused, and proactive in managing leads or customers
- Driving License (Category B) required
- English proficiency
- Part-time availability
- Zero hours contract availability
