Job Summary
Deliver Insomnia Cookies orders safely, accurately, and with a smile, ensuring every package arrives warm and complete. Navigate efficiently using GPS and delivery technology while following safe driving practices, and welcome guests in the bakery to provide friendly service between deliveries. Assist with preparing, packaging, and organizing orders, help bake and package treats as needed, and operate the register to process transactions. Keep the bakery clean, organized, stocked, and food-safe while working closely with your team to keep orders moving quickly. This role requires a valid driver's license, access to a reliable insured vehicle, and availability for evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays. You'll split your time between the bakery and the road, working in varying weather conditions while supporting our mission to deliver happiness to cookie lovers globally.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Valid driver's license with a safe driving record
- Access to a reliable, insured vehicle that meets company requirements
- Current auto insurance that meets state minimum requirements
- Smartphone capable of running company delivery applications
- Availability to work evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to drive safely for extended periods throughout a shift
- Ability to frequently enter and exit a vehicle
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods while working inside the bakery
- Ability to lift, carry, and transport orders weighing up to 30 pounds
- Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds with assistance
- Ability to reach, bend, twist, kneel, and carry bakery products
- Ability to work in varying weather conditions while making deliveries
- Ability to work around ovens, refrigeration equipment, and moderate bakery noise levels
- Ability to communicate effectively with guests, coworkers, and leadership
- Ability to navigate efficiently using GPS and delivery technology while following safe driving practices
- Ability to welcome guests in the bakery and provide friendly service between deliveries
- Ability to assist with preparing, packaging, and organizing delivery and pickup orders
- Ability to help bake and package cookies and other treats as needed
- Ability to operate the register and process guest transactions
- Ability to keep the bakery clean, organized, stocked, and food-safe
- Ability to work closely with your bakery team to keep orders moving quickly and accurately
- Ability to help create the kind of guest experience that keeps people coming back
