Job Summary
Deliver Insomnia Cookies orders safely, accurately, and with a smile, ensuring every package arrives warm and complete. Navigate efficiently using GPS and delivery technology while following safe driving practices. Welcome guests in the bakery, provide friendly service, and assist with preparing, packaging, and organizing orders. Help bake and package treats as needed, operate the register, and keep the bakery clean and food-safe. Work closely with the team to move orders quickly and maintain a positive guest experience. This role requires a valid driver's license, access to a reliable insured vehicle, and availability for evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays. You'll split time between the bakery and the road in a fast-paced environment, supporting our mission to deliver happiness to cookie lovers globally.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Valid driver's license with a safe driving record
- Access to a reliable, insured vehicle that meets company requirements
- Current auto insurance that meets state minimum requirements
- Smartphone capable of running company delivery applications
- Availability to work evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to drive safely for extended periods throughout a shift
- Ability to frequently enter and exit a vehicle
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods while working inside the bakery
- Ability to lift, carry, and transport orders weighing up to 30 pounds
- Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds with assistance
- Ability to reach, bend, twist, kneel, and carry bakery products
- Ability to work in varying weather conditions while making deliveries
- Ability to work around ovens, refrigeration equipment, and moderate bakery noise levels
- Ability to communicate effectively with guests, coworkers, and leadership
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with ovens, refrigeration equipment, cleaning chemicals, and moderate noise levels
- Ability to drive in varying weather and traffic conditions while following all safety policies and traffic laws
- Availability during peak business hours (evenings, late nights, weekends, and holidays)
