Job Summary
Review and process unpaid or pending accounts by preparing daily cash and performance sheets. Collect higher delinquency accounts and oversee the buyback process while communicating with dealers regarding back-end collections, reserves, and charge-offs. Execute daily portfolio reviews using business statistics to make suggestions for reserve, repossess, or charge-off actions. Ensure paperwork accuracy, confirm daily activity reconciliations with dealers, and facilitate document archiving. Generate monthly, quarterly, and yearly performance reports alongside asset allocation runs. Perform other reconciliation and maintenance functions as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize accordingly
- Organizational and time management skills
- Proficiency with PCs and strong emphasis on use of MS Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook, Dealpack, Dialer, and CMS
- Pay attention to details
- Proven problem solving (identification, analysis, resolution) skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate technical and business problem issues in a non-technical manner
- Self-motivation and ability to think independently and as a team member in a fast-paced, deadline driven team environment
