Job Summary
Lead strategic capture efforts for major and enabling deals, driving win strategies aligned with business objectives and customer needs. Own the full capture lifecycle from opportunity identification through to contract award. Responsibilities include developing capture strategies, managing multi-disciplinary teams, building senior customer relationships, consolidating market intelligence, and ensuring compliance with internal and ethical standards. Requires deep knowledge of government procurement frameworks and a proven track record in sales and business development in complex, high-value government contracts.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 10 Years in Sales/ Business Development
- Proven track record of undertaking large, complex Capture activities in pursuit of government contracts (£20m +)
- Background in defence and national security
- Deep knowledge of defence and government procurement frameworks
- Extensive customer and stakeholder knowledge in defence or national security domains
- Proven leadership of complex capture and cross-functional teams
- Track record of winning major deals (£10M+)
- Strong understanding of Shipley principles
