Job Summary
Capture Manager within HII Mission Technologies Warfare Systems group leading pre-award activities and win strategies for opportunities. Responsibilities include developing and owning the Capture Plan, coordinating with portfolio leads and stakeholders to generate compelling proposals, building customer relationships through effective communication, performing gap analyses, identifying innovative technologies, leading competitive analyses and bid/disciplined win themes, coordinating teaming and NDAs, managing price-to-win analyses and budgets, selecting personnel for key roles, and ensuring compliant bids. Travel 11-25% and locations include Dayton, OH; Huntsville, AL; McLean, VA; or National Capital Region. Requires a Senior-level background with a Secret clearance and extensive experience across the capture lifecycle, proposal development, and cross-functional team leadership. Required Qualifications
- 8+ years relevant progressive experience with Bachelor's in related field OR 6+ years relevant progressive experience with Master's in related field
- Secret Clearance
- Extensive knowledge/experience in capture process across contract types (e.g., FFP, T&M, cost plus) and IDIQ/single or multiple award contracts (e.g., GAS AAS, IAC MAC)
- Excellent written and oral communication, presentation, and organizational skills
- Experience in engineering and/or program management
- Ability to articulate a business and technical vision with strategic thinking
- Experience in proposal development – ability to read and understand federal/defense solicitation documentation
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with leadership and cross-functional teams
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite
- Ability to travel as needed
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
