Job Summary
Senior Capture Manager within the Warfare Systems segment driving win strategies and capture plans across the pre-award lifecycle. Lead diverse stakeholders including executive leadership, business development, portfolio leads, program managers, technical SMEs, and government customers to shape and execute winning capture strategies. Oversee development of capture plans, win themes, discriminators, and technical/management solutions; coordinate with teammates, vendors, and NDAs/Teaming Agreements; manage price-to-win analyses, budgets, and proposal development to deliver compelling responses. Located in target customer areas (Dayton, OH; Huntsville, AL; McLean, VA; or National Capital Region) with 11-25% travel; requires Secret Clearance and extensive experience across DoD/federal solicitations and multiple contract types; strong leadership, strategic thinking, and communication skills for cross-functional collaboration and delivery of mission-focused outcomes.
Required Qualifications
- 6 years relevant progressive experience with Bachelor's in related field; or 4 years with Master's in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent with 10 years relevant progressive experience
- Secret Clearance
- Extensive knowledge of the complete capture process and experience with all contract types (FFP, T&M, cost plus) and IDIQ/single or multiple award contracts
- Excellent written and oral communication, presentation, customer communications and organizational skills
- Past experience/understanding in engineering and/or program management
- Ability to articulate a business and technical vision with strategic thinking
- Strong knowledge of proposal development and ability to read/understand federal/defense solicitation documentation
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with Leadership and other personnel
- Proficient in MS Office Suite
- Strong multi-tasking and time management
- Ability to travel as needed
- Experience with NDAs and Teaming Agreements/Exhibit As
- Experience in government contracting lifecycle and win strategies
- Leadership capability in developing talent and building relationships
- Ability to manage budgets and pricing strategies
- Understanding of pricing-to-win analysis
- Experience coordinating with cross-functional teams
- Capability in leading teams through Gate reviews
- Ability to identify teammates and vendors and sustain B2B relationships
