Job Summary
Lead and coordinate large capture opportunities within the LED Business Development team, guiding cross-functional groups through strategy formulation, win-theme development, stakeholder engagement, and end-to-end capture processes. Leverage CRM tools (Salesforce) in alignment with the Business Acquisition Process to drive capture performance and win probability, while coordinating with line-of-business management, finance, contracts, global supply chain, technology, and engineering. Requires active Top Secret/SCI clearance, up to 50% travel, and relocation consideration.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business, a technical field, or another relevant discipline
- Minimum 5 years progressive experience in capture, proposal development, and business development or master’s +4 years or PhD +2 years of hands-on experience in capture management
- Experience managing full-cycle capture activities including strategy development, resource allocation, and customer engagement
- Proficiency in using CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) alongside adherence to BAP process standards
- Excellent verbal communication skills, with prior experience in briefing executives and influencing decision makers
- Understanding of various contract and payment types (non-IDIQ, IDIQ – single or multiple awards, FFP, T&M, Cost Plus) as well as the FAR
- Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time
- Active Top Secret/SCI clearance at the time of application
