Job Summary
Lead capture efforts from opportunity identification through contract award, developing competitive win strategies and Black Hat sessions to stress-test pricing and technical assumptions. Own the full capture lifecycle, including budget management, bid/no-bid recommendations, and seamless handoff of plans to Proposal Management at RFP release. Partner with Contracts, Legal, Finance, and Supply Chain to structure teaming agreements, develop cost models, and ensure compliance with FAR/DFARS and export controls. Engage Engineering SMEs to align technical solutions with customer hot buttons and brief senior leadership on unified capture narratives. Maintain relationships with Space Force, IC, NASA, and mission partners while synthesizing market intelligence for procurement strategy.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Political Science, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience
- 7+ years of Capture Management experience in the Aerospace & Defense / Government contracting market, with a sustained focus on space capabilities
- Active TS/SCI clearance
- Established relationships with Space Force (SSC), IC, NASA, or broader DoW customer organizations
- Experience serving as Capture Lead on awarded programs exceeding $100M-$250M+ in total contract value
- APMP certification (Foundation, Practitioner, or Professional) or equivalent capture/BD credential
- Familiarity with Shipley or similar structured capture and proposal methodologies
- Experience developing price-to-win (PTW) analyses in coordination with Finance and Pricing teams
- Willingness to work full-time in our Greenwood Village, CO office; this position does not support remote or hybrid work
- Must have permanent authorization to work in the United States
