Job Summary
Capture and Solutions Architect role focusing on shaping and capturing new business opportunities for Aurizn. Lead design and architecture of customer solutions including programmatic delivery, technical solution, supply chain and commercial model; coordinate internal stakeholders; develop prototypes or demonstration solutions to support strategic capture efforts; manage end-to-end capture activities including proposal and bid development; mentor team members in opportunity shaping and producing compelling proposals; collaborate with senior leadership to align with long-term strategic plans. Requires ability to obtain NV1 security clearance, engineering degree, 10+ years in Defence engineering/technical roles, 2+ years as a Solutions Architect in Defence growth, broad Defence acquisition lifecycle experience, capture-management proficiency, and strong communication and stakeholder management.
Required Qualifications
- NV1 security clearance required
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or higher
- Minimum of 10 years in an engineering/technical role within the Defence industry
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Solutions Architect in the Defence Growth function
- Experience across the defence acquisition lifecycle from early-stage technology development to capability design and delivery through sustainment
- Demonstrated proficiency in capture management techniques (e.g., Shipleys) and tailoring processes to business maturity
- Ability to quickly understand technologies including AI/ML, DevSecOps, MLOps, network security, and various physics and parametric modelling techniques
- Exceptional written and verbal communication and strong stakeholder management skills
