Job Summary
Coordinate front-of-house service operations during shifts, ensuring smooth guest experiences, accurate order taking, and efficient table turnover. Lead and coach the service team on floor standards, hygiene, and safety protocols while managing service flow between sections. Act as the primary liaison between guests, kitchen, and supervisors to resolve issues and drive revenue through upselling. Maintain strict adherence to Dubai Golf grooming and presentation standards while supporting opening, closing, and shift handover procedures.
Required Qualifications
- High school education or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years experience in F&B Service
- At least 1 year in a leadership/section-in-charge role
- Guest-focused, confident, approachable and positive attitude
- Fluency in English (verbal & written)
- Strong communication skills with the ability to guide and support juniors
- Solid knowledge of F&B service steps, menu items, wine service and POS systems
- Ability to multitask, solve problems and make quick decisions on the floor
- Team player, adaptable and able to work well under pressure
- Professional appearance and high standards of hygiene
- Attend mandatory training sessions, briefings, and any required service excellence updates
- Be trained as a Fire Marshall or First Aider
- Read, Understand and comply with all applicable Information Security Policies and Procedures of wasl DG
- Attend Information Security Awareness sessions conducted by the wasl IT Department
- All Information Security breaches, events, weaknesses, incidents (actual or suspected breaches) shall be immediately reported to the IT Service Desk
- Aware of Dubai Golf Mission, Vision and Values
- Will be responsible to apply the 4 Service Steps throughout serving internal and external customers
- Demonstrate punctuality, reliability, and professional conduct at all times
