Job Summary
Conduct safe navigation, passage planning, and vessel maintenance while managing charter guests and ensuring regulatory compliance aboard a BVI-flagged yacht. Prepare high-quality meals, handle guest hospitality, and support deck operations as part of a Captain and Mate/Chef couple team dedicated to delivering exceptional experiences during the Caribbean winter charter season. This long-term opportunity involves active sailing with owners, families, and repeat clients on a professionally presented vessel.
Required Qualifications
- Yachtmaster Offshore Commercially Endorsed
- STCW
- Minimum 2-3 seasons of sailing yacht charter experience
- Proven experience operating charter sailing yachts between 40ft and 60ft
- Strong sailing knowledge and practical seamanship
- Good engineering and maintenance skills
- Professional presentation and communication skills
- Couple Team position
- Caribbean-based winter charter programme
- BVI-flagged yacht
- Active sailing programme with owners, family, and guests
