Captain responsible for communicating service needs to chefs and stewards, handling total charges for group functions, presenting checks to group contacts for payment, and ensuring banquet rooms, restaurants, and coffee breaks are prepared for service. Ensures proper table centerpieces and the cleanliness/presentation of china, glass, and silver prior to use; checks in with guests to ensure satisfaction; communicates dietary requirements and special requests to the kitchen; maintains daily cleanliness of work areas; adheres to safety, security, and company policies; upholds professional appearance and confidentiality; fosters positive teamwork and effective communication; stands/walks for extended periods and can lift objects up to 25 pounds; expects at least 2 years of related hospitality experience and 1 year of supervisory experience; no license or certification required.
