Job Summary
Anticipate and accommodate guest needs while actively taking orders, presenting menus, and answering questions about food and beverage items. Accurately enter orders into the POS system, ensure proper delivery of all items, and solicit allergy or dietary restrictions from each guest. Maintain general cleanliness of assigned stations and the venue, including setting tables, wiping surfaces, and stocking side-stations. Follow supervisor instructions, communicate guest needs to support staff and chefs, and complete opening, closing, and end-of-shift financial procedures. Serves all alcoholic beverages in accordance with state regulations and alcohol awareness training standards. This role requires previous dining room experience in a high-volume restaurant or nightclub, the ability to stand for extended periods, and lifting up to 75 lbs. The position involves irregular shifts, evening and weekend work, and holiday coverage in a fast-paced environment subject to varying noise levels and crowds.
Required Qualifications
- Previous hospitality experience
- Previous dining room experience
- Previous experience in a high-volume restaurant/nightclub/lounge
- Ability to write, read, and verbally communicate
- Must be able to print legibly
- Must be able to stand for extended periods of time
- Must be able to move quickly
- Must be able to push and lift up to 75 lbs.
- Must have good positive energy throughout the day
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Ability to handle a fast-paced, busy, and somewhat stressful environment
- Maintain a professional, neat, and well-groomed appearance adhering to Company standards
