Job Summary
Capital Processing Specialist II responsible for applying underwriting guidelines, reviewing documentation during underwriting, managing ownership/entity transitions, and communicating with loan applicants to convert restaurants into Toast Capital clients. Involves ensuring regulatory compliance (AML, KYC, fair lending), coordinating with US and international teams, and helping drive production and customer-service goals within a hybrid work model. Familiarity with Salesforce and Excel is helpful; role requires strong written/verbal communication and meticulous organization.
Required Qualifications
- 3-5 years of relevant commercial credit or loan processing experience
- strong written and verbal communication skills
- ability to interact with loan applicants and business owners via written communication
- familiarity with Salesforce and Excel is helpful
- ability to work under pressure and manage multiple applications and deadlines
- strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- capacity to adapt to changing policies and procedures
