Job Summary
Develop and direct engineering aspects of major capital projects across multiple locations, managing concurrent initiatives and defining project scopes that align with customer business objectives. Establish technical criteria, utilize PM tools for budget and schedule control, and coordinate procurement and contracting for equipment and services. Direct project execution from initiation through closure, managing internal and external resources while mitigating risks and resolving complex design hurdles. Mentor team members, communicate with stakeholders, and ensure compliance with global EHS and engineering standards. Requires 10+ years of engineering experience and 25% travel to domestic US plants.
Required Qualifications
- A Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, science, or closely related discipline
- 10+ years of significant engineering and / or operational experience
- Proven track record of managing projects to completion, using extensive external resources
- Demonstrated excellence in breadth and depth of knowledge within project management
- A technical background in health care, nutritional products, laboratory diagnostics, medical devices, pharmaceutical, or similar industries
- Demonstrated competency with financial systems and in fiscal control
- Project accounting experience
- Understanding and management of procurement & contracting processes
- Travel 25% (mostly domestic to our 7 Plants in the US)
