Job Summary
Iron Workers and Pipefitters needed for Fort McMurray capital project. Scope of work includes construction, exchangers, tie-ins, bolt-up/welding, piping, and structural installation. Rotation is 14/7 with 9.5-hour regular time on an averaging agreement. FI/FO with flight hubs in Edmonton and Calgary and camp accommodation are provided. Requires a valid Journeyperson or Apprentice Trade certificate, minimum 4 years in oil and gas construction, and mandatory safety tickets (Common Safety Orientation, Fall Protection, Aerial Work Platform); welders must have CWB and B-Pressure tickets. Proficiency in English is required. Must have reliable transportation to the site, a valid driver’s license, and a clean five-year driver’s abstract (under 6 demerits). This is a safety-sensitive position with drug and alcohol testing. The employer emphasizes growth, development, and team support.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Journeyperson or Apprentice Trade certificate
- Minimum 4 years in oil and gas construction projects preferred
- Meet minimum mandatory safety ticket requirements: Common Safety Orientation, Fall Protection, Aerial Work Platform
- Welders to provide CWB, B-Pressure tickets
- Proficient in English, both written and verbal communication
- Must have own reliable transportation to the site, valid driver's license and clean 5-year Driver’s Abstract with under 6 demerits
