Job Summary
Senior-level Capital Projects Estimator leading the estimating function for capital projects across North America, translating project concepts into financial insight for leadership. Responsibilities include developing capital cost estimates and high-level budgets for manufacturing and distribution facilities, producing detailed quantity take-offs and cost breakdowns across engineering disciplines, refining estimating methodologies/tools, reviewing drawings/SCOPES/bid packages for accuracy, collaborating with stakeholders to scope and estimate projects, researching market pricing and labor rates to keep estimates current, and presenting estimates to internal leadership. Travel to sites (~30%) for site visits is required. Education and extensive estimating experience are required, with a bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Construction Management and proficiency in ProEst/Procore/RS Means, AutoCAD, and MS Office.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (any discipline) or Construction Management
- 10+ years of combined experience in construction, estimating, pre-construction, or capital project roles
- Proficiency with industry-standard estimating software (ProEst, Procore, RS Means or similar)
- Proficiency with AutoCAD and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project)
- Experience developing Scope of Work documents and reviewing vendor/contract bid packages
- Experience with project management and coordinating cross-functional teams
- US work authorization (no sponsorship)
