Capital Projects Engineer

Job Summary
Lead capital projects end-to-end, managing scoping, planning, design, procurement, execution, and commissioning to ensure safe, on-time, on-budget delivery. Build project charters, cost estimates, and business cases while coordinating resources across teams and contractors. Supervise on-site construction activities, review drawings, and manage variances through clear stakeholder reporting. Champion site safety standards and facilitate meetings to align goals with operations and external partners. Work remotely in a 11-hour day schedule with a one week on, one week off rotation, including occasional travel from Saskatoon, Prince Albert, or La Ronge.
Required Qualifications
- Post-secondary degree or diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Mining, Geological, Chemical, or Civil Engineering, or a related field
- 5+ years of direct experience in project or construction engineering, ideally in mining or another industrial setting
- Drug (including marijuana) and alcohol substance testing is a requirement for all positions
- This position has a schedule of one (1) week on, one (1) week off at our remote camp in northern Saskatchewan, working 11-hour days
- The chosen candidate will be required to fly in / fly out of the site on designated days from a pick-up point in either Saskatoon, Prince Albert or La Ronge
- Unscheduled Overtime opportunities will exist throughout the year
Desired Qualifications
- PMP certification is an asset
- Experience with industrial facilities, remote operations, and shift work is an asset, but not requirement
