Capital Planning Manager

Job Summary
Lead the execution and optimization of the client’s annual capital plan across corporate offices, infrastructure, data centers, and retail spaces; design and document capital planning procedures, integrate data from JLL and other service providers, and drive data-driven decision-making; supervise a diverse project portfolio, coordinate intake, evaluation, and prioritization, and collaborate with Finance and BI to improve budgeting, forecasting, and reporting; deliver client-ready dashboards and analytic outputs while fostering cross-functional collaboration and continuous improvement of tools, processes, and KPIs; requires robust financial expertise and the ability to translate strategic initiatives into actionable projects, with a focus on disciplined expense management and multi-year planning.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, engineering, real estate, or related field
- Minimum 7 years’ experience in capital planning, portfolio management, or financial management within real estate or facilities environments
- Strong financial acumen, with forecasting, budgeting, and project financials
- Proficiency with systems supporting process efficiency, data integration, analytics, and reporting (AdaptiveWork, Ingenious, Smartsheet, Corrigo, E1)
- Advanced skills in data analysis, dashboard/report development (Power BI or similar) and data-driven reporting
- Ability to build consensus, lead cross-functional teams, and communicate effectively
