Job Summary
Lead end-to-end strategy and execution of integrated public affairs campaigns across federal, state, and local levels to advance policy, legislative, and corporate reputation priorities. Build trusted relationships with external stakeholders including policy influencers, trade associations, think tanks, and nonprofits to drive joint initiatives. Cultivate deep relationships with national and regional media outlets to pitch and secure targeted earned media moments that advance core enterprise narratives. Draft high-impact strategic materials, executive talking points, and positioning papers on complex economic and societal issues. Design and manage high-impact thought leadership events, policymaker education programs, and strategic convenings both inside and outside the beltway. Provide real-time, actionable strategic advice to senior business leaders to ensure communications align seamlessly with enterprise objectives.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or military experience
- At least 5 years of experience in public affairs, issue advocacy campaign, earned media, political campaigns, or any combination of the four
- At least 2 years of experience in a consulting or corporate setting, such as a PR agency or trade association
