Job Summary
Executes fixed income trades efficiently and with minimal market impact while ensuring fair, prompt execution; collaborates with advisors and internal stakeholders on idea generation and strategy implementation; communicates relevant market developments to portfolio managers and partners; ensures accurate settlement and maintains relationships with street counterparties for liquidity management; responds to client and internal inquiries promptly; stays current on rules, regulations, and industry best practices governing investments and trading; adheres to trading procedures, risk controls, and governance; continues to enhance knowledge of markets, products, and trading tools to support effective execution and decision-making.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Active FINRA Series 7 & 66
- 3+ years' experience in brokerage/financial services industry
- Fixed Income knowledge in Municipals, Corporates, Agencies, Treasuries, MBS, and CDs
- Strong knowledge of brokerage/financial services industry, including custodians (Pershing, Schwab, Fidelity)
- Experience with using vendor applications and market data services (Bloomberg, Factset, Excel API)
