Job Summary
Analyze complex information requests and financing situations while working closely with Capital Markets Municipal Underwriters to structure and price customer debt offerings. Conceptualize various financing alternatives that fit a customer's individual situation and advise them on the best methods for obtaining funding. Supervise Capital Markets Quantitative Analysts, ensuring work quality and timeliness, and prepare or oversee responses to Requests for Proposals from municipalities. Solicit inclusion in underwriting groups or financial advisory contracts as directed by the Capital Markets Public Finance Manager. Always take action using Integrity, Caring, and Excellence to achieve all-win outcomes.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Economics, Business Management, or Finance
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge of the applicable laws, rulings, and regulations pertaining to municipal finance
- 5+ years experience in municipal finance
- Proficient in Microsoft computer applications, DBC and IPREO software
Desired Qualifications
- An existing book of relationships with municipal finance managers
- School District CFO or Superintendent experience
