Capital Markets Operations Transformation Consultant

Capital Markets Operations Transformation Consultant role for a Senior Consultant in a management consulting practice. Responsible for leading trade lifecycle transformation initiatives, operating-model design across front, middle, and back offices, and partnering with technology teams to implement automated, AI-enabled solutions. Responsibilities include evaluating data standardization, identifying automation opportunities to improve settlement and STP rates, conducting structured stakeholder interviews, delivering clear recommendations to senior client stakeholders, leading assessment workstreams, and contributing to proposals and thought leadership. Requires 3-5 years of relevant management consulting experience in Capital Markets or related Financial Services roles, strong understanding of post-trade processes (order management through settlement and reconciliation), familiarity with industry infrastructure (DTCC, SWIFT, custodians), ability to manage multiple workstreams, and excellent written and verbal communication. Bachelor’s degree and proficiency with project-management tools (JIRA/Confluence) and MS Office are expected.
