Job Summary
Capital Markets Lawyer – Vice President in EMEA handles documenting, reviewing and executing EMEA DCM transactions including investment grade, high yield and emerging markets bond issues, hybrid capital, covered bonds, and liability management; works with business teams, risk and control areas, and Legal to set standards and provide guidance, with responsibilities including structuring transactions, reviewing legal documents, and providing training to the business and within Legal; proactively shares experience, participates in Legal and Firm-wide projects, and collaborates across global teams.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed to practice law and in good standing in the relevant jurisdiction
- Solid debt capital markets experience at a law firm or in-house legal team at an investment bank
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and execution skills
- Ability to work independently and as a team player
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Keen interest in transactional, legal regulatory work
