Job Summary
Capital Markets lawyer – Vice President in the EMEA Capital Markets Product Group. Responsible for documenting, reviewing and executing EMEA DCM transactions including investment grade, high yield and emerging markets bond issues, hybrid capital, covered bonds, and liability management. Work closely with business teams, risk and control areas, and colleagues globally to structure, negotiate and provide guidance on risk assessment and solutions; help set documentation standards, internal policies, and monitor regulatory developments; provide training to the business and within Legal; participate in firm-wide projects.

- Ability to work independently and as a team player, proactively and multi-task.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Keen interest in transactional, legal regulatory work.
- Solid debt capital markets experience at a law firm or in-house legal team at an investment bank.
- Lawyer must be licensed to practice law and a member in good standing in the state/jurisdiction in which the position is based or in-house counsel registration rules
