Job Summary
Capital Markets lawyer – Assistant Vice President responsible for documenting, reviewing, and executing EMEA DCM transactions (investment grade, high yield, emerging markets bond issues, hybrid capital, covered bonds, liability management). Will liaise with business teams, risk and control areas, and Legal colleagues globally; provide training on documentation standards, guide risk assessment and solutions, participate in firm-wide projects, and contribute to cross-border transactional and regulatory work. Must be licensed to practice law and capable of operating in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment; strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills required. London-based role with global scope.

- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Keen interest in transactional, legal regulatory work
- Must be able to demonstrate solid debt capital markets experience at a law firm or an in-house legal team at an investment bank.
- Lawyer must be licensed to practice law and a member in good standing in the state/jurisdiction in which the position is based or otherwise in compliance with the in-house counsel registration rules of that state/jurisdiction.
