Job Summary
Capital Markets Data Analyst responsible for owning the accuracy and reliability of datasets and reports driving capital markets decision-making, including Daily P/L, Gain on Sale reconciliation, and investor exposure analytics. Role focuses on building and maintaining complex SQL/ETL pipelines, Power BI reports, and BI assets within Microsoft Fabric and Azure Data Factory, while collaborating with capital markets stakeholders and supporting real-time and longer-cycle reporting needs. Requires strong independent work ethic, data analysis skills, and the ability to translate business questions into clean, reusable data assets.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional experience in business intelligence, data analytics, or a closely related data role.
- Advanced SQL skills and ability to navigate unfamiliar SQL objects independently.
- Strong analytical mindset with ability to question data and validate results.
- Working understanding of ETL principles and experience maintaining data pipelines.
- Power BI development experience including report and dashboard authoring and semantic model design.
